Kaffa la jirafa | Kaffa the giraffe

Les presento a Kaffa, el primer juguete y modelo original de Pichoniza. 

Esta pequeña jirafa tiene cuernitos de listón y su pelo es de estambre. No puedo evitar sonreír cada vez que la veo, me da ternura.

Después de hacer a Pachi Paquidermo, intenté hacerle ajustes al patrón para hacer un caballo. El ajuste no salió como esperaba, pero pensé que con otra modificación más, podría ser una jirafa. Y después de practicar la cabeza con los cuernos y las orejas, nació Kaffa. Ahora ya no las hago, están en el baúl de los recuerdos, pero me siguen gustando igual que cuando nacieron.🦒💚

Let me introduce you to Kaffa, Pichoniza’s first toy and original design.

This little giraffe has little ribbon horns and her fur is made of yarn. I can’t help but smile every time I see her – she’s so cute.

After making Pachi Pachyderm, I tried adjusting the pattern to make a horse. The adjustment didn’t turn out as I’d hoped, but I thought that with one more tweak, it could become a giraffe. And after practising the head with the horns and ears, Kaffa was born. I don’t make them anymore – they’re in my memory chest – but I still love them just as much as when they were first made.🦒💚
