¿Les cuento una historia? Estas dos muñecas que ven aquí fueron las primeras Pichonizas que existieron en el mundo. La pionera fue la de gorrito azul-cyan, que si observan con atención, notarán que aún no tenía pies. Su hermana de vestido rayado, que vino después, ya llegó con piececitos —mi primera pequeña mejora en el diseño.

Hay momentos que marcan un antes y un después en nuestras vidas. Para mí, fue crear esta Pichoniza de gorrito cyan. Al terminarla, supe que había encontrado algo completamente nuevo, que me inspiró profundamente y que hizo latir muy fuerte mi corazón. Había algo mágico en darle vida a esta pequeña muñeca de tela. De hecho, ella fue la inspiración para crear la que después se llamaría "Celeste".

Las Pichonizas han evolucionado muchísimo con los años. La técnica de elaboración ahora es profesional, pero sigue manteniendo esa misma magia y ternura que me atraparon desde el primer día.

Shall I tell you a story? These two dolls you see here were the first Pichonizas that ever existed in the world. The pioneer was the one with the cyan-blue bonnet. If you look closely, you will notice that she did not yet have feet. Her sister in the striped dress, who came later, already had little feet—my first small improvement in the design.

There are moments that mark a before and after in our lives. For me, it was creating this Pichoniza with a cyan bonnet. When I finished her, I knew I had found something completely new, something that inspired me deeply and made my heart beat faster. There was something magical about bringing this little cloth doll to life. In fact, she was the inspiration for creating what would later be called ‘Celeste’.

The Pichonizas have evolved a lot over the years. The manufacturing technique is now professional, but it still retains the same magic and tenderness that captivated me from day one.
